First Bite

Randy and I have been bit by the blog bug. Ginger Wilson sent us a blog that she has started and it has inspired us. We don't get to stay in touch with friends and family like we would like, so we thought this would be a great start in staying connected

Sarah Katherine is now 23 months old and the time has flown by. People always say they grow up way too fast...boy were they right!! She really keeps us on our toes. She goes to Mother's Day Out at First Baptist Church two days a week. This is when we have our time to attempt to get things done. Thank Goodness for Tuesday's and Thursday's!!! The teachers are great and Sarah Katherine is learning a lot!! Each week she comes home with a new letter that they are working on. When you ask her what letter she learned it is always "A" first and then the letter she learned. This weeks letter is "G", which she has down pat, thanks to GIGI.

Randy is now home for a little while. He has spent the last few months going back and forth to Singapore. The rig that he is going to be on was built over there. It left last week headed back to the Gulf of Mexico. Hopefully he will be home for about 5-6 weeks. We are hoping for the 6 weeks off so that he can be home for Sarah Katherine's birthday. Once he leaves he will be going to Cape Town Africa to catch the rig and ride it for about 5-6 weeks. What fun for him and us!!! I really hate for him to be gone because he is such a great help at home and with Sarah Katherine.

Me...trying to keep my head above water. I got myself a little side job helping some friends of ours paint their house. So I have spent most of my waking moments painting. And of course when you decide to do something you get busy with real estate. I have been working with several different people. So between being a mother, selling real estate and painting some days I don't know if I am going or coming. But I am about through with the painting and Randy and I are about to go to the mountains for a few days. That should revive me!
